Molly Kimball is a well-respected expert in the field of sports and lifestyle nutrition. An established nutrition consultant, she is a registered dietitian, Board Certified as a Specialist in Sports Dietetics.   

Based in New Orleans, Molly oversees the nutrition program at Elmwood Fitness Center, advising clients in reducing body fat, building lean muscle, endurance training, disordered eating, and incorporating nutrition into real-world eating. 

Molly is a nutrition columnist for The Times-Picayune newspaper, covering the latest trends in the nutrition and the fitness industry. She also writes monthly nutrition columns for Louisiana’s Health and Fitness Magazine and New Orleans Living Magazine.

A frequent media spokesperson, Molly is featured regularly as a nutritional expert on local and national news stories. She also loves to collaborate with popular New Orleans chefs in preparing and presenting fun, upbeat, and nutritious cooking classes.

Molly has been featured in national media outlets including Vogue, The New York Times, Newsweek, Shape, Health, Fitness, Redbook, Woman’s World, MSNBC.com’s Smart Fitness column, ABCNews.com, Runner’s World, Women’s Health and Fitness, Wine Enthusiast, Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, Woman’s Day, Organic Style, WebMD, and CNN.com. She often serves as a nutrition lecturer for continuing education courses for medical professionals, and is a preceptor for dietitic interns through Tulane University, Touro Infirmary, and Nicholls State University.

Molly graduated Magna Cum Laude from Louisiana State University with two Bachelor of Science degrees:  She earned a B.S in Dietetics (1998) and a B.S. in Food Science and Technology (1999).  She completed her dietetic internship at Touro Infirmary in 1999.
